- Designing good quality infrastructure, following best security practices
- Working with cloud environments (AWS mostly but also GCP) and physical servers
- Implementing CI/CD pipelines
- Contributing to product design and ideation as part of an empowered product team
- Coaching and mentoring other engineers on best practices, and how to move forward well by building production-quality software
- Helping establish a DevOps mindset where operational support of our products is a key consideration
- Improving our software development process by automating or reducing bottlenecks
- Using data and stakeholder input to make well-informed decisions on what to focus on as a team
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders to understand their needs
- Advanced/fluent English skills – Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- At least 3 years working with infrastructure (SysAdmin, SRE, SysOps)
- Being comfortable with Linux and Windows systems
- Strong knowledge of control version tools like Git
- Knowledge in Infrastructure-as-a-Code. We use Terraform
- Strong knowledge of cloud providers, preferably AWS
- Experience in network protocols and technologies (TLS, DHCP, DNS, FTP, HTTP, VPN, Firewalls, Unifi)
- Experience with virtualization (Docker and Kubernetes/Swarm)
- Experience in at least one programing language like Python, Node, Go, Javascript, Pearl
- Communication and Collaboration
- Good experience in automation tools like Ansible/Chef
- Experience with open source monitoring tools like: Icinga2, Grafana, Prometheus/Thanos, Graylog/Logstash
